Madeira beach live cameras
These cameras are on Madeira Island, Portugal. They are not Madeira Beach, Florida.
A calm picture is not a bathing permit. Lifeguards and the maritime flags decide whether you swim. If Funchal is grey, look at Calheta before you cancel the beach. If the north is white, do not treat Porto Moniz as a pool day.

South coast
The lee of the central ridge. Calheta holds imported sand behind breakwaters. Câmara de Lobos is a fishing harbour bay.
North coast
Open to the north Atlantic. A calm day in Funchal does not mean Seixal or the Porto Moniz pools are swimmable.
East coast
Santa Cruz is Praia das Palmeiras: pebble and pools beside the market. Machico has the sand beach inside the bay.
Porto Santo
The other inhabited island. Porto Santo Line, read 7 October 2026, gives the ferry from Funchal about 2 hours 15 minutes.
