Which Funchal harbour camera shows what
Three pictures, three different bits of the waterfront. None of them is a departure board.
·

Funchal's waterfront is long enough that one camera cannot cover it.
The port camera looks at the working harbour. Use it when you want the quays and the basin, not the hotel front. The Pontinha camera looks toward the cruise pier. On a ship day that is the frame that shows whether a vessel is alongside. The marina camera looks at the marina, where boat trips and the promenade sit. Whale-watching boats leave from this side of the front, not from the cruise pier.
None of these pictures tells you a boarding time. Confirm that with the company that sold the ticket. A ship alongside does make Avenida do Mar slow. If you are only trying to see whether the day is a cruise day, open Pontinha first, then read the cruise-day note. The marina wall itself is discussed in the marina note.
