The terraces you can see, not a tasting menu
Madeira wine is grown on cliffs. Cabo Girão and Câmara de Lobos show those slopes. They do not pour a glass.
·

Madeira wine comes from grapes grown on steep terraces, many of them on the cliffs west of Funchal. You can see that agriculture from Cabo Girão, looking down at the plots at the base of the cliff, and from the approach to Câmara de Lobos. If those frames are in cloud, you will not see the terraces and the drive is only the road.
This page will not rank producers or invent a cellar visit. If you want to drink the wine, the bottles are in Funchal. The walk there is the front note. If you want to see the land it comes from, open Cabo Girão first and go when the cliff is clear. The viewpoint note is viewpoints worth the drive.
Malvasia and the other styles are a subject for a merchant, not for a camera site. The camera's job is to show whether the cliff is visible today.
