Walking the Funchal front, camera by camera
Arriaga, the old town, Barreirinha, and the port. Four frames, one walk, no invented route times.
·

A walk in Funchal does not need a numbered tour. The seafront is the line.
Avenida Arriaga is the garden avenue west of the old town, the one that fills for the flower festival. The old town itself, the painted doors, sits east of that, down toward Barreirinha, the small beach and the fort. The working water is the port camera. If you only open one picture before you go out, open the one for the end of the walk you care about.
Cruise mornings push people into the same lanes. Look at Pontinha if the front feels inexplicably full. The cable car lower station is on this same walk, in the cable car note.
