A short map of Madeira beaches and their cameras
Funchal, Machico, Calheta, and the north. Each shore on this list has a camera. Open that one.

Funchal. Praia Formosa is the long city beach, pebbles and sand, easy if you are already in town. The lido pools are a separate complex on the hotel front. They are not Formosa.
Machico. The Machico beach camera looks at the bay east of the airport. Useful on an arrival day when you do not want to cross the island.
Calheta and Ponta do Sol. Southwest, often brighter than Funchal. Cameras: Calheta and Ponta do Sol. Read the Calheta sand note if the beach looks like rock.
North. Porto Moniz, Seixal, Porto da Cruz. Only after the swell check.
