A desk in Funchal: which camera to glance at
If you are working in the city, three pictures tell you whether to stay in or go out. No visa advice here.

People work from Funchal for weeks at a time. This site will not tell you about visas, taxes, or cafes with plugs. It will tell you which camera answers the question you actually have at 15:00: is it worth leaving the desk?
Funchal harbor is the walk outside. If it is bright, the front is the break. If it is raining and you wanted sun, open Ponta do Sol before you decide the whole island is gray. If you were going to drive to the ridge after work, open Pico do Arieiro first. A gray summit at 15:00 will not clear for a sunset. The reason is the peaks note.
The morning check is the same three pictures at the start of the day. Use them again before you close the laptop.
